Not sure if Los Angeles can be a mention considering alot of their top prospects are NHLer\'s already but if you take a quick look in the past 4 years they\'ve had one heck of a good rookie class.

-ALEXANDER FROLOV
-ANZE KOPITAR
-PATRICK O\'SULLIVAN
-JACK JOHNSON
-LAURI TUKONEN
-MICHAEL CAMMALIERI
-JONATHAN BERNIER

I may be missing some players but thats one heck of a good rookie list, not to mention having a took pick this year and a guy like Karl Alzner will be added.

Ah good point...it was late and that who I forgot, Dustin Brown.

And well with Tukonen he was a top prospect and were not sure yet how he will turn out. Hes in a well surrounded team and that will help his stats obviously. Give him good ice time and we\'ll see what he can become. Time will tell. Hopefully he becomes good.

Tukonen still has not completely recovered from the season-ending shoulder injury he sustained during the 2005-2006 season, and it showed with a near-complete lack of progress this season. It\'s not the first major injury he\'s sustained either - he\'s got great hands but sometimes fails to keep his head up while handling the puck. Though in his defense I think he was only about 15 years old the first time he got hurt, and already playing in SM-Liiga. He still does his best work in the corners, but I think that\'s partly because (being so young compared to his peers in each league, from SM-Liiga on up) he keeps getting played on checking lines by his coaches. On the other hand, those skills in the corner could be very valuable to a team with as many skilled prospects a the Kings. Before this season I thought his upside might be 75, but now I\'m somewhat more skeptical. I think he\'ll put up somewhere in the 60-65 range annually once he develops, though his future linemates in Los Angeles could easily help him to surpass that.

I like L.A\'s depth(which kinda spells doom for my sharks, but oh well).

And Tukonen, Thieving Giraffe said pretty much what was on my mind. He\'ll be a second liner who will be great in both ends, with a scoring touch. Depending on his linemates, he could get to 75, or maybe over. I kind of doubt it though.
He\'ll be one of those players you really want on your hockey team, though.

You know who Tukonen reminds me a lot of? Marty Gelinas. Big, solid, defensively strong winger who puts it together every so often to become a threat. Gelinas broke 30+ goals twice and 50+ points four times over his long career. I could see the same thing happening for Tukonen.
