Gonchar didn\'t finish the game tonight. I heard his groin is bothering him.

You\'re right. The AP story says, \"Gonchar didn\'t play in the third period because of a sore groin,\" but that was it. Perhaps (hopefully) he was taking it easy with the big lead? Pittsburgh doesn\'t play again until Friday, so he\'ll get some rest, at least.

The Penguins likely opted to rest Gonchar in the third period because the game was already out of hand. They don\'t seem to concerned about the injury and he remains a low-risk start for Fantasy Week 9 (Nov. 26-Dec. 2)

The Pens don\'t play until Friday night. It looks like it was for precaution.
