Keeper, pts only, no position

I want to get Malkin, because I think he is a very by low candidate. Just remember last october, you put him all 1st in pts for long over Crosby and Ovechkin. Also, at the end of this season I will keep only Backstrom in my 8 players. So, for me it's Malkin for Backstrom. Heater is just super gravy and I will drop him.

Am I OK?

I would try trading Backstrom and Staal/ Tavares, etc. before settling on Backs and Heatley. In a 5 team league, your keepers should only be players who are close to or hitting their prime.

To me, I would protect Heatley over Tavares, Staal and Kane.

I kind of agree. Heater is a better keeper option than staal and Tavarez. Both are very good, but not in their prime. Staal could be a 100 point player again, but Car will be in rebuild next season. Tavaez is still 3 years from 100 points.

Go for Backstrom and Tavarez for malkin... or better yet go with Staal, Tavazez and another non keeper with lots of value like Breire, spezza, or Dats.
