Is this guy done as a 70-80 point player?
His stat line is as ugly as his face and Calgary isn't a good fit for him (or anyone else not named Bourque or Giordano apparently). What does everyone project for him moving forward - this year, next year, etc.? He has been a fairly consistent scorer (30+ goals) and has reached 91 points before (with no real teammates). It's tough to project this guy. But as I have discussed with others, he does have the pedigree to break out like Richards or Marleau given the right situation (UFA this season) What can we expect from pig face?

What are you, Brad Pitt? Who cares what he looks like. LOL
He's not done as a 70-80 point player, but I guarantee he doesn't produce like that consistently. He's only 31, so I'm fairly confident he'll have 1 or 2 good years (70+) before he retires... but if you're looking for consistency, I think you're barking (oinking?) up the wrong tree. |

haha, I thought he is one of the most attractive active nhlers!!!
With that said, he used to be picked for his consistency, but being an Olli owner, it's starting to take a toll. Yes he is only 31 and will probably produce 70+ in future seasons, but now it's starting to be more of a gamble. Which O. Jokinen will you get this year!? roll the dice

Totally dependent on where he ends up next year.
Playing with Doan didn't do it for him. Iggy neither. Maybe he needs to be "the guy" like he was in Florida -- there wasn't anybody within 15 points of him there. I won't be dealing him unless I get somebody decent, because I still think he could bounceback, but it has been a frustrating year.

dumb hockey player. yes, he needs to be "the guy", and he needs wingers who give him the puck, opposite of most centers, who give the puck to their wingers.

Ha ha.
Yeah, he's honking me off too. Spent 13% of my salary for old oinker, there. I tend to agree with the above: a season or three of around 70, but no 90pts any more. And probably needs to be "The guy" to flourish. I'm still hoping he's gonna "go ham" this season. |

I agree that he has become Flip the coin Jokinen. However, one must not forget that it is not going well in CGY right now.

Only way I'd take jokinen again is if he's back on an east coast team. He can't play getting beat up so much on the west. Even still I would be ecstatic with 70 pts
