I\'m in a 1 yr non-keeper league -- pts only for fwds.

Does anyone know how long Gagne will be out? He\'s listed as out-indefinitely which has increased from his day-to-day status.

I could drop him for:

Matt Cullen
Jonathan Toews
Robert Lang
Jason Arnott
Mike Comrie
Brendan Morrow
Saku Koivu
PM Bouchard
or Brad Boyes

I love Gagne and I love his line when he returns. He\'s missed 7 of 17 games so far...Is he back soon enough to outweigh all of these guys pt projections on the season?? I also only have 3 trades left on the season, is it worth burning one?

You need to go with your head and not your heart. Gagne is extremely injury prone and now he has a concussion to shake. Thats not good. Honestly I would take any guy off your list BEFORE Simon Gagne. Toews or Koivu is your best bet.

That doesn\'t surprise me - hopefully he goes IR because dropping him would not be good. But I think Lang is the guy if you do drop him - he will line-up with Havlat and Williams.

Gagne is going to be gone awhile and that is a lot of production you might miss out on not making a move. I am not ready to take Toews over Gagne healthy in a one year this year but it sure looks like the go-to guy for you.
