I had a few questions to those who are familiar with the Yahoo Pool setup:

Satan currently isn't in the Yahoo Fantasy Hockey Player "list"

With Him signing with the bruins I`m guessing that he eventually will get entered in at some point.

Does anyone know how that will work out?
Will he get added and be on the waiver wire for a period before entering the "general population"?
Will he just get put in without any waiver priority period?

As a commissioner, I'm trying to work out the most equitable method for this player to be obtained (should teams want him)

I've already had a GM email the rest of the league "laying claim" to the player, but I am inclined to ignore this as its just a verbal statement.

But, I was just curious what the thoughts would be on how to handle a situation such as this, as its not a "hockey" issue, but rather a "system" issue, with the player not being available to even put a waiver claim on. (The closest I can think of is Sundin from last year, but he was in the system albeit in an "NA" status)

For me personally, as this is a league of "friends" I was going to leave it and let the system work itself out, see how the player enters, and on "good will" let the GM have Satan (not that he figures to be a hot pickup for me anyways) But I wanted to be ready, in case it doesn't go down like that.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

He'll be placed on waivers. Similar to what happened with Dominic Moore and MA Bergeron.

I think just letting it go through waivers is the most fair way to do it. I'm not a fan of managers "claiming" players before they are added into the system unless before the season you clearly state that managers can do that. Its impossible to tell what managers have gone in looking for the player, found out he's not in the system, and then left it at that (thats what I did in one league).
