Default Who to start for the remainder of the year..Halak or Rask

Hey there,

I have both Rask and Halak and want to see your opinions as to who I should play for the remainder of the year?

Both are doing well but are considered to be their respective teams backups..

Who do you expect to get the most starts and wins from here on in?

Thanks to all responses.

I think, unless Thomas gets hurt, Halak gets more game starts and also is likely to be traded and become a starter for that team.

For the remainder of this season Halak is the guy to go with. He will get more starts and could end up a starter on another team.

However, I think Rask is the better bet long-term, Thomas is getting old and it is only a matter of time before Rask gets the full time job. I'd say this time next year Rask is starting.

Short term (this season) I would definitely go with Halak. As other posters have stated, Halak will start more games than Rask, that's if he stays with the Habs this season. If he gets traded at the deadline, he will become a starter somewhere else and will see even more action.
