Default Deep Yahoo roto keeper team for sale

The UHL currently has a team up for sale. We are a very deep, 15-team keeper league in its inaugural year. The scoring system is roto-style hosted by Yahoo with 6 categories: G, A, P, PIM, PPP and SV%. Starting lineups consist of 10 Forwards, 5 Defensemen, and up to 4 Goalies (though many teams only need to carry 2-3 since Sv% is the only goalie stat). There are also 3 bench spots available and 3 IR slots in necessary. Teams can protect 17 players from year to year.

The available team (Currently named the Coyotes) is a very young team featuring Ovechkin, Toews, JVR, among others. The outgoing GM is leaving citing family priorities (new baby).

The league is very active, with well over 300 transactions so far this season. The UHL has an extensive set of rules and a board of Governors to ensure longevity and fairness. The full set of rules and current rosters can be viewed on our official website uhl.peatrc.com.

The UHL's prize structure is as follows:
Total Pot: $30 x 15 teams = $450
Regular Season:
1st place $160
2nd place $120
3rd place $70
Playoff winner: $70 (please check the UHL website for details on how playoff points are calculated)
Player owning the Calder winner (Rookie of the Year): $30

All UHL teams have already paid their yearly fee, so the new owner will be eligible for prizes this spring.

The application process is as follows. Quoting from rule VI.6 in the UHL CBA: "An application will consist of two things: (1) A bid. (a bid can be 0$ or greater, but prospective managers may want to consider things like time of the season, whether the team's fee is paid for and whether or not that team is likely to claim a prize, etc.), and (2) A brief rationale stating why the prospective GM believes they would be a good choice. After the deadline passes, the application with the highest bid will be awarded the franchise. If there is a tie for the highest bid, the BOG will choose a winner amongst the tied applicants by reviewing the rationales provided in their applications."

If you are interested, please check out the full rules on our official website uhl.peatrc.com . If you have any further questions, you can contact me at my peatrc gmail address, or through the "Contact the Commish" link on the top left of the official website.

The application deadline is set for Sunday January 10th @ 11:59 P.M. (EST). Please forward applications to the Commish via the "Contact the Commish" link found on the top left of the official website.
