Saw this on the TSN Ice chips...
\"For the first time in nearly two weeks, Manny Fernandez joined his teammates for practice. And while Fernandez, who suffered a left knee strain Oct. 30, moved smoothly Monday and has been cleared to play, he doesn\'t know whether his injury has fully healed.\" If you\'re able to wait a few games you might want to. If he\'s being pressured to play (that wouldn\'t make sense) by mgmt and coming back too early, that would be bad. Good Luck!

Fernandez improving By Fluto Shinzawa, Globe Staff After his first full practice since Oct. 30, Fernandez said he\'s been cleared to play, although he didn\'t say his left knee is 100 percent healthy. \"Same tough question, same tough answer,\" said Fernandez. Claude Julien said Fernandez felt better today. Fernandez appeared to move smoothly and didn\'t seem to show any discomfort. At the conclusion of practice, the forwards worked on a far-post drill, with Julien feeding the shooters cross-ice passes and Fernandez moving from side to side.
