hmm tough call actually.

the reason many people are saying they wouldnt necessarily take this is because depending on who you drop to keep ur roster even, you lose some points too. if you drop a 60 point player but gain two 80 point players, ur really only getting 100 points and ur giving up a 120 point stud. on the other hand, since ur dropping zednik, who i feel is a mere 40 points its not such a big deal.

thornton - probably around 120 points again
zednik - i expect around 45
total - 165

daniel - 85
henrik - 80
total - 165

it actually comes up fairly even if you ask me. thornton is a stud and is as close to a guarantee as they come. the sedins on the other hand add consistent depth to your team.

flip a coin, it seems to be a wash to me.

In order to have both Sedins on your active roster, you need to drop one guy right? You are thinking of dropping Zednik.
I think Zednik is on pace for about 50-55 point season...so along with Joe at say 110-120 you have 2 guys combining for 170-175 points. You have the Sedins combining for 160 points.
Also, if one Sedin doesn\'t score, either does the other one, wheras Joe has more options on the team he plays for. It looks like a slam dunk to you at first glance yes, but you have to look a little deeper than the glitter of getting both Sedins. If you have a guy you can drop thats a 20 point guy, then do the deal, if you have to drop a 50-60 point guy, then one of the Sedins becomes a 20 point guy for you, and you are giving up a guy who is ALWAYS at or near the top of the leaderboard.

No way! Your guaranteed over 100pts with Thornton, and probably the most assists in the league. The sedins are not guaranteeing anything in my oppinion. Personally I think you could find someone half decent on the waivers. Dont give up probably, your best forward.
