What's the deal with this guy, is he gonna be a PPG for the whole year? and can he reproduce this well year after year? Just wondering how valuable he actually is.

Play it safe after this season. He is a 60+pt guy

I think he is the real deal. I live in montreal and see him play for the past few year. Except for last year, he is been getting better year after year. Yes its is contract year but he Plays PP, SHG and 5v5. He plays with the best player (cammalari). Also he is the one bringing the puck up and play with 2 snipers..AK and Camm.

Yeah I've watched a few Habs games as a Plekanec owner. The guy is for real. The thing is the Habs run everything through him on the PP, he's the one on the side boards that dictates the play. When the puck goes to him he either feeds it to the point or down low for Cammy or AK47. He touches the puck pretty much 2 or 3 times a shift, and when that happens you'll usually pick up the assists.

He's also fairly quick and knows how to skate to the open areas and look for the open man cutting to the middle with WTF-type passes.
