Default Gaborik/Perry for Staal/Roy

Here\'s the latest offer from a guy who\'s been trying to unload Gaborik.

It\'s not a keeper league... just one year.
Standard roto.

This offer\'s still on the table... anyone have an opinion on it?

Given Roy\'s slow start, I\'m tempted. But barely.

I wouldn\'t. Gabby and Perry have huge upside, and staal is almost as injury prone as staal.

Any suggestions on the trade I was offered a bit before yours?

well first of all, if I were you I wouldn\'t be giving up Emery... I think the goaltending situation is going to get sorted out eventually, and I\'d give it time to work itself out. If emery ends up being the solid #1 in Ottawa, you\'ll kick yourself.

Now can you decipher the note you left me? ha ha...

I think whoever gets gaborik/perry wins in this situation. staal will miss time with injuries too, and perry is looking much better than roy right now. thanks for the advice on mine.

Staal has played 82,82,and 81 games in the last 3 seasons.

vs.

48,65, and 65 for gaborik.

So I think that sums up who I\'m more worried about missing time.

I may have just answered my own question.

Until Gabby shows he can play at least 70-75 games in a season, I\'m not touching him with a 10 foot pole. Maybe I\'d think about it if he was offered to me for a plugger at the bottom of my depth chard. But Staal is certainly not a plugger. He\'s scoring well and consistently on a team that looks really strong. Gaborik\'s already missed time this year, even though he\'d supposedly worked specifically on strengthening his groin over the summer. I would stay away.
