Default 2 Trades to evaluate...

I just made the following deals that I feel will take me to the top of my league, or keep me there HAHA.

Trade #1:
HIS: Jagr, Vanek and Corvo
MY: Alffy and Cole (dropped Mara)

Trade #2:
HIS: Michalek and DiPietro
MY: Morrow and LeClaire

My points team with the following settings now looks like this:
G (1), A (1), +/- (1), PIM (.5), PPP (1), SHP (2), GWG (1), SOG (.25), W (5), L (-3), SV (.1), SHO (2)

C: Datsyuk, Roy, Straka
LW: Ovechkin, Vanek, Michalek
RW: Jagr, Afinogenov
D: Whitney, Carle, Markov, Corvo, Murphy
G: Lundqvist, Giguere, DiPietro

What do you guys think about that line up?

Any feedback at all would be great. Just tell me whether I did a good job or not. I think I come out of this a lot better than what I went in with, but the other managers in my league feel the opposite asking me why I would want to trade all my good players away when I am in first place. Anyone, all I am looking for is a pat on the back, or a kick in the ass...

Trade 1- I dont really understand it in terms of what your goal was. Jagr is money in the bank, and in line with pursuing a victory this year- but then Corvo and Vanek are better suited to a re-building strategy. Vanek (and all of Buffalo) is slumping this year and while I would not just give up on him Id have to think he was a prime candidate to trade for a Cole or an Alfy to maintain the lead. Corvo is a solid contributor but wont really get going until they move Redden next year. I dont think you lose this trade in terms of value but I really don\'t think I would make it in your particular situation...

Trade 2- I like this trade a lot better as you moved a middle of the road center for a harder to fill winger spot, who has a lot of upside and time left to his career. I also think moving Lecaire for Dipietro saves some of the headache injury associated with Leclaire. I don\'t mean to nitpick here but I just have to wonder if you couldn\'t get more for LeClaire- his value is absolutely sky high right now and in most leagues goalies are gold.

Just my opinion here and I want to stress that I don\'t think you lose either trade- it would just be hard to pull the trigger in that spot. Who knows I may have my foot in my mouth by the end of the season- good luck!

Yes goalies are huge in our league and that\'s why I wanted to get one that that doesn\'t have a huge injury risk since we have a max games feature which is hard to fill with this many teams looking for goalies. The same thing can be said for Cole, he gets hurt way too easy and I just wanted to get some value for him while I could, I figure Alffy and Jagr are a wash at the least and Jagr could perhaps be better than Alffy this year. It\'s a one year league so there will be no rebuilding.

I like trade #2 but I think I would want a little more value in trade #1
