Default Gerber back to back?

with Ottawa\'s salary situation for next year, they have to move one of these guys - so maybe it truly IS a showcase?

Default Gerber back to back?

They want to win the cup so trading Gerber will be secondary to that - nothing stopping them from trading him in the offseason is there?

Mallinos I feel your fustration. I\'m in the same situation and am wondering what to do with Emery aswell. I can\'t pick up Gerber cause I do feel that he is being showcased as trade bait. But between now and when he does get traded its very fustrating to see Emery sit especially back to back games. I also have the same situation with Hasek who is injured. But I do believe that Hasek will always be the #1 when he plays. I thought My goalie situaton was good especially since both are supposed to be the #1\'s for the top 2 teams in the league.

everyone relax, emery is still a good goalie to have , but we all might have to ride out this emery gerber thing through out the season as that would be ottawas\' smartest move , as long as the two get along sharing duties.if the team slumps then you will see a move , hard to say who , depends on the intereat in both.

shoeless gerber had no value in the offseason... i\'m hoping that Gerber will be moved to make room for forsberg.
if gerber keeps up his play and emery was to be moved to lets say phoenix or la would anyone take him over gerber, leclaire or dipietro (who play for teams who are normally subpar)

shoeless i misread your post and assumed that u meant last offseason. there is nothing stopping them from moving him in the offseason unless they spent big bucks at the trade deadline.

It\'s a reversal from last year. This time Gerbs has stolen the #1 spot from Emery.

I was just as surprised as anyone when Gerber got the nod for the second Boston game.

Emery letting in those 4 goals in the last period of that Atlanta game did not help his cause.

Gerber will stay in as long as he keeps playing like this.

i think OTT is trying to increase the stock of gerber so that they can eventually trade him and rid his 3.7M salary, and for gerber owners in fantasy leagues thats a good thing cuz thats exactly what OTT is doing for you so sell him high while you can!
