Default Lehtonen news?

Does anyone have any news on Lehtonen? I have been looking, but not very successfully on where he is at in his rehab.

I'm also waiting and snooping but haven't found much. I'd assume it's the usual...

A few decent nuggets over on HFboards, but it sounds like he isn't all that close: http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=691854

I just asked one of the Thrashers media personnel if he had heard any information on him at all. He replied - No updates, no timetable for his return.

Pretty useless/standard response. I doubt he would have said anything even if he did know.

Lehtonen might be out for a fair while though....

He reeeaally does. Good guy to have in leagues that have farm callups for IR relief, but he's pretty much on my shitlist next to Gaborik at this point.

Though I still have that internal irrational GM in me screaming that he's got the skills to lead the NHL in goaltending stats but I fight it off MOST of the time.

News Flash
By mister mcgoo, Associated Press – 25 mins ago

ATLANTA, GA – Atlanta Thrashers goaltender Kari Lehtonen was found incapacitated on the floor of his living room home in Brookhaven this afternoon authorities say. Paramedics arrived on the scene around 3:30 PM after being notified by a friend of Lehtonen. It seems the troubled netminder pulled a muscle in his back and then tore his groin while attempting to retrieve a fudgsicle from his freezer. When paramedics arrived on the scene they found him choking on his own tongue. The chief paramedic, John Smith remarked "I've never seen a man choke so badly while not completely inebriated or under the effect of some serious drugs, it was very strange to find him choking and gasping for air when we arrived". Lehtonen is said to now be resting comfortably at home with an undisclosed lower body injury, the Thrashers are not reporting a timetable for his return.

McGoo, you crack me up and you're on a roll lately!

At one point Lehtonen's groin wasn't made of noodles. Then, there was some weird conversion process. Then it spread to his back. I'm worried that his entire musculoskeletal system is degenerating into pasta.

Groin made of noodles with poor rebound control. But damn, when he's in the zone!
