I recently joined a points-based keeper league. Keep all players. I am in rebuilding mode and won't be competing for at least 2-3 years. Am considering trading Versteeg and Enstrom for a couple of prospects that have a bit higher upside. I know it's risky when dealing with prospects, so I wanted to get your thoughts on this offer (and counteroffer).

Not sure I want to give up three players who have already proven they can produce at the NHL level for a couple of prospects that may or may not succeed. I am also quite thin at defence, so losing both Enstrom and Quincey might be too much to lose in the long run.

I wouldn't move Versteeg if I could help it. I think that he's going to break out this year. I guess it depends on how badly you need help at goalie. Ellis might not be one to take because of the carousel they have there with Rinne.

Ya, I just do not see that as being a good trade for you. Of the three prospects that you mentioned, I like Turris the least and he is realistically the furthest away from being anything like an impact player. That, and you would be giving up 3 players who are clearly able to contribute right this second at a pretty decent rate for two guys who may or may not pan out in the league, not a good deal for you. It should be the other way around. He should be giving up three prospects for two performers because prospects are prospects for a reason, you don't really know what you are going to get in the end and if one of those three is remotely sucessful, then awesome work.
