I must admit that I held on to him through his darkest hours.
It\'s only one game though.

True - glad I played him tonight but I also just dumped him in favor of Hagman (I like Hagman against LA on Thur and Phoenix on Sat vs. Nagy against Dal and Edm) - we\'ll see how it shakes out...

One thing of note: when he was benched by Gretzky in Phoenix, when he came back he did come back with a flurry, being really productive for a while after. He is an enigma, you really don\'t know what to expect. I dropped him in one league, kept him in another. He is still available in that league, its pretty shallow, and I\'ll need to know more before I drop say a Kunitz for him.

He is finding the groove and for the last year he played in nowheresville for offense - I think there is reason to believe he isn\'t just going to a quick flash here. I drafted him and still have him and am more than prepared to ride some ups and downs as my 3rd LWer to see what he is going to do.

So you reckon overall, come April, he would have had a solid season, even if it has big peaks and troughs throughout? He probably reflects LA as a team, can shutout Nashville 6-0 one day, then be super awful the next. That said, come April, LA might be just outside the playoffs, maybe even sneak into 8th. Thats a good season. Just like 65+ points for Nagy might be, even if there are 5 game scoreless streaks combined with multiple 3 point games along the way.
The Dallas point is worthy. You gotta go back to his Phoenix days. Don\'t forget in his I think career year he was leading scorer after 50 odd games until he did his season in with injury, if I recall correctly. |

You are pretty close to exact there - I don\'t think we will see 5 game pointless streaks from him and I really do think 65 points may be a little conservative - I think 70 with some real upside if this team gels as I think they have started too.

If I had Morrow, I\'d probably keep him.
He holds the advantage in +/- and PIM\'s over his career.
