Wheres the coolaid?
Guys the ole he\'ll be back this summer line is gettin a little tired. Yeah sumtimes they do but it aint quite automatic! If you took notice the Blues have been doing OK without either guy. Walts been OK but Billy is so done! The Oil is a bleepin mess that Smyth don\'t need. Plus the Isles will thro the Dough at him. I could maybe see Walt back but not fer sure..big $ for that dude. I think the Blues are dedicated to retoolin and will want to spend the cash wisely where free agents are concerned. Not to mention the fact that a guy like Walt eats up a lot of minutes that a guy like Boyes for instance or Stempniak need to continue to develop to their potentials. Sure they will need some experienced dudes in the lineup but not top liners more like support types if at all. Two seasons from now I reckon the Blues will be a decent team if they remain patient and go with their kids for now.
As for who\'s the better player, Cajanek cleared waivers.. Stempniak is still improving, already a decent fantasy player..nuff said. I own Stemper (keeper league) never even gave Cajanek a thot.
