Love this site.

Fellow GM after my Thornton, offered
Alfredson and Lilies for Thornton and Chara,
point difference between Dan and Joe seems too big.

I countered back with a trade that equals about 220 points per side, by getting back Savard I add 20 points over my centers Gomez/Koivu, and Alfreddson adds 30-40 points over Kovalev or Ryder.

Does this trade make sense for me, or is it imbalanced?

You counter offer seems close, but I think Zherdev is in hockey hell and wouldn\'t do this deal from the side looking to get him. He\'s talented, but his numbers could easily be less than your predictions and I think Alfredsson\'s could be a little higher.

IMO you\'d have to swap out Zherdev and insert Kovalev or Ryder to make this closer.

I also thought Alfred\'s numbers stand to be higher, and he is really my main target.

Savard 25/70 = 95
Hejduk 35/35 = 70

Thornton 25/95 = 120
Ryder 35/30 = 65

This is not favorable to me nor even, eben if Hejduk has a career year of 40/40. At 27yo, and having seen Ryder\'s
linemated on fire, if healthy, he\'s a shoe in for 35/30, with 15/15 on the PP

Does this sound \&quot;Favorable to me\&quot; or is just pretty even and not worth the trouble/risk?

Somewhat confident in Savard for 90+ with Bruins offense angle, not as confident at Joe\'s 110-120 though, Ryders number solid as rock (Habs fan here), so are Alfreddson\'s
with maybe a slight remote upside of 100 points for Alfie
if he sticks on first line and top PP minutes.

1- Absolutely go for it, Savard and Joe close enough that Alfred replacing Ryder is a no brainer. ?
or
2- Go for it, but it\'s pretty balanced.
or
3- It\'s so closely balanced, that I would keep Big Joe and
stay put, hope Ryder hits 35/35 and Kovalev bounces back to .9ppg like 05/06, with 25/45 = 70
and
4- Hejduk may surprise as much as Alfred, may want to still consider that
or
5- Hejduk deal NOT good for you, don;t do it, it\'s Alfredd or nothing.

Considering:

1- Dropping Ribeiro 20/40? for Zajak 25/35?

2- Zherdev for god knows

3- Daily, I go back and forth with center offered trade offers for all kinds of W, Cheechoo, Ovechkin (allmost!), Kariya (close), Gaborik, some lesser then elite\'s, tried to snag Malkin and Sykora (both dual eligibility), close but no go.

Tell me, compared to any of my roster players, how valuable is dual eligibility, like C/W like Malkin, and to a lesser extent, CW Sykora, W-W Horton, W-W Naslund, etc...

Perhaps give me an idea of who on my roster would be worth trading for any of the above multis?

My thoughts are Gomez for Sykora would be great.

Thornton and soft winger or goalie for Malkin and medium winger or goalie?

Gomez/Koivu for RW-LW Horton?

I just don\'t quite get the overall value of Dual, have a feeling it can be darn good over a year, to slide in the top player in a slot that allows room for another good player.

Also offered same trade, but added his Cam Ward for my Ray Emery.

Emery better rated, but I feel Ward will play more and won more, Emery may be a tad overrated, and I have Gerber, if Emery faulters, I\'m really sitting strong.
