I think that could be very close at the end of the year but it would seem the stat categories favor Connolly - if he stays healthy he should have a very decent season.

His FW took a bit of a dive last game but so far this season he has been 54.6%, 52.6%, 73.7% and 42.9% - he is averaging over 18 minutes a game and getting PP time.

Unless you\'re sure Connolly won\'t play more than 50 games I think you have to like him over A. Markov.

Just a question, are there positional requirements in this league? Do you have to dress a certain number of D [b/c this would boost Markov\'s value]?

When in doubt - pass! Markov is solid and tough to replace - a Connolly is usually easier to come by.

Shoeless is right about it being hard to replace solid D [interestingly I have both Markov and Connolly in my pool this year]. Do you have positional requirements at forward.

I think it\'s close. A case can certainly be made for standing pat here. I\'d be tempted to do the deal b/c I like Connolly\'s upside [even with the concussion history] and I wouldn\'t flinch about dropping M. Sturm. Do you like to gamble?
