Default Paul Martin

There is no cap space available in the swamp next year to sign Rafalski. Martin is the only option on the point for the pp. The kid has skills and I know what Dobber thinks about New Jersey and their system. But when Martin will basically be on an island back there next season he should put up good numbers, shouldn\'t he?

If they don\'t resign Gomez (like what I think), they\'ll have cap room for Rafalski.

Martin is WAY FAR of beeing a Rafalski for New Jersey.

Zajac or Parise can replace Gomez, but I don\'t think Martin can replace Rafalki.

Rafalski will sign with NJ, if is not, he can comme to Mtl any time.
He\'s a underated defenseman like Timonen or Markov

He\'s puzzling. 37pts last year & struggling to get to 30 this year.

NJ will never lead the league in goals for, but I thought with Martin and Reflaski on the point during the PPs would be good... only 16 PIMs and a -9 as well. Might be better options as far as pools go.

Pete has my vote, Gomez will be gone and rafalski will stay. Cheaper option then giving Gomez a huge contract.. Zajac and Parise fill the void...
