This is the counter offer I received to the Vanek/J.Staal for Nash/B.Richards. He said that he wants 2 keepers back if he is trading 2 keepers. I am not as sure about this trade because I do not really want to give up Spezza. Do you think I should do the trade or perhaps make another counter offer?

Ok, so basically, he\'s offering you Vanek and Staal for Spezza since he\'ll have no use for Wolski now or as a keeper.

But considering you wouldn\'t use Staal either for now, you don\'t gain anything.

You want to upgrade your starters so you need to aim for 1 better player. Something like Spezza and Wolski for Heatley or Ovechkin. Or maybe go for something like Spezza, Wolski and Bouwmeester for Malkin and Whitney.

It probably doesn\'t matter seeing as how your team is so ridiculously stacked :blink:. I don\'t think I\'d make the trade though. While you have alot of depth in your center, only Crosby and Spezza will put up significantly higher #s than the other guys, and I wouldn\'t want to have only have Crosby standing between you and a significant point loss.
