Edler and M. Michalek would replace MA Bergeron and Hejduk or Sharp on my protected list(15 players) going into next year.
.25 - goal .15 - assist .05 - +/- no PIM SH and Hat bonuses

hey there, welcome to the best site for hockey advice around. hope to hear more from you.
as for this trade your giving up spezza for 3 players. as for the players i dont like who they would be replacing so in the end you would be trading: Roy, Michalek, Edler for spezza, MAB, hejduk or sharp.. in your points system sharp is better than michalek and with the new coach in MIN (not as defensivly played as the old one) MAB should look to improve and could be an interesting breakout player next yr. In the end i dont like this deal for you.

I would keep Spezza for sure. I would probably value Spezza higher than the three of them put together since I tend to prefer quality over quantity, as do most fantasy hockey players.
Newper makes a good point too. Since you are taking on the extra players, you are essentially having to drop other players for free, and the trade would wind up ending looking like Spezza, Sharp and Bergeron for Roy, Michalek and Edler. With the exception of Edler over Bergeron, you would lose out on just about every player in that deal. Keep Spezza and your team the way it is.

Spezza is by far the best player in the deal. The other 2 guys don\'t make up the difference to make this deal worthwhile.
You can get much more for Spezza

You guys have confirmed my initial reaction. Just thought I would get a fresh perspective. I tend to dismiss most of the trade offers I get so when I saw this section in the forum I figured it was worth a try.
Thanks for the quick responses and warm welcome.
