now i dont think this offer is strong enough but it is a start.

We play 2 at each position except 4 at Defense. It is a full keeper dynasty league. YAHOO run league. normal 6/4 scoring stats.

players he has offered up for trade: marleau, Pronger, Jovanovski, clowe, Raymond.

My thought is to target smith (one of his other goalies) as well - to shore up my goalies. What are your thoughts? who else should i ask for - remeber i will have to drop someone if i do a 3/2 trade so maybe i throw someone else in?

i would never trade mueller and little for those two. Both Mueller and Little will be steady 70-80 point getters throughout their years. Gagner will likely always be just a 65-70 point player.
What are you looking to get? I am assuming you want a goalie in return? Am I correct?

I would offer:
Wheeler (he\'ll likely struggle finding 1st line minutes wherever he goes, Backes and Quincey (or Vlasic)

FOR

Gagner, Jovanovski (coming off a poor season but still holds value) and Halak

I would hesitate to move Mueller only because his value is so low after last season that you\'ll never receive fair value

maybe look to move zherdev instead of little or mueller

That trade isn\'t even close. An argument could be made that either Little or Mueller is on their own more valuable than Gagner. You are blessed with incredible depth on RW and could look to exploit it but to me this deal isn\'t worth considering.

I also understand that you lack depth in goal but Halak is not a solution. He\'s a backup and there\'s no reason to presume he will be anything more so he has limited value.

I honestly don\'t see this guy as being a decent trading partner for you right now. The only guys he has offered up that could give you an upgrade are Marleau and Pronger and they play positions you are already strong in. Smith is a decent option but he may be a limited upgrade over your other tenders.

Make goaltending your target for this offseason. You are solid everywhere else. With 40% of stats coming from goalies, they are supremely important. You can win leagues like this on strength of goaltending alone.
