What player would you rather have. Most of the year will be spent on the bench but it was a trade proposed to me. I have Doan and I don\'t want to make the other team stronger because he would be a starter for him. Thanks

There is not much that separates these two players, from an overall production point of view. Both play first line right wing. Dobber projects 61 points for Doan and 60 points for Ryder. Ryder is 27 yrs and Doan is 30 yrs old.

Personally, I like Doan better. He is more consistent where Ryder is streaky.

You haven\'t indicated that Ryder is a player that you wanted. Your concern is that you don\'t want to make the other team stronger. If the other gm wants Doan that much you might want to consider \'upping\' the price for him. Does the other guy have anything that appeals to you and is a need on your team?
