Hey guys... 12 team keeper league, here is my team as it stands now:

CENTERS: Savard, Straka, O\'Sullivan, Mueller, Legwand
LEFT WING: Kovalchuk, Vanek, Stillman, Samsonov
RIGHT WING: Hossa, Hemsky, Ouellet, Kotalik
DEFENSE: Whitney, Bouwmeester, Bieksa, Preissing
GOALIES: Budaj, Hasek, Huet, Price, Osgood
FARM: Halak, Berglund, Giroux, Kindl, Russell

Would you drop any of these guys for Vlasic? I can keep 5 farm players and 5 roster players (although any rookie [under 24, under 150 GP] is able to be sent freely to the farm, so any rookie on my active roster is also keep-able).

AS it stands now, my keepers would be:
Roster players: Kovalchuk, Vanek, Hossa, Whitney, and Savard
Farm guys: O\'Sullivan, Mueller, Price, Berglund, and one of (Giroux, Russell, Kindl)

halak is down on the farm and vlasic is a decent pick up at d , that\'s an option.

Hello pjm and smoothfun:

I might consider going with an unknown for a known. In other words, I would drop Kindl and pick up Vlasic. I think Kindl is going to be good but it is going to be awhile for his opportunity to get significant ice time. Vlasic has shown that he has an offensive side to his game. That will develop more this year, I am sure. He is only 20 years old so the upside is significant. He will likely get 2nd pp time with San Jose this year.

I like Giroux a lot and think he will make the team next year. Russell will get an opportunity with Columbus. I am not sold on him but he has proven many wrong before.
