This is a first year deep keeper league. We count EVERYTHING (G,A,P,+/-,PIM,SHP,SOG,SH%)

I have a nice young deep team with such keepers as:
E. Staal
Kovalchuk
Semin
Radulov
Phaneuf
Weber
Luongo
Nabokov

Trouble is, I can only keep 6 players at the end of this year. Should I roll the dice and get a solid keeper with Kopitar? or wait and deal for him later in the year (giving up one or two of my other young prospects...i.e. Semin who isn\'t as solid as the rest on the list)?

Neither Nylander or Stempniak are going to be on your keeper list, and there is a good chance that Kopitar will, so do the deal now before the other guy realizes this. Kopitar will be amazing playing on the #1 line in LA.

I would do that deal even though you will have a tough time deciding on keepers down the road. Whatever you can do to give you the best core of keepers is usually a good move - this makes sense to me.
