Experts League Trash Talk:

1) Trade offer from Lanky to Notch:
Lanky offers: Player X and Player Y
For
Notch’s Player A and Player B

2) Notch responds: Do you know how I know you are gay???

3) Lanky replies: Why do you think that you \"know that I\'m gay???\"

This is a pretty even trade considering that your defense sucks. Player B may do ok this season, but his preseason showing of 0 goals, 0 assists, and minus-5 doesn\'t exactly scream smooth transition to the nhl. Player Y is a proven commodity.

X and Y will put up 110 points or so between them, will be huge in the penalty stat, and will have respectively high sog totals. Yeah A and B may get more points, but considering how incredibly weak your defense is, this offer is by no means laughable or evidence that \"I\'m gay.\"

Lanky also proposes a 2nd offer by replacing B with Player C this time.

4) Notch finishes with: It\'s official. I will let the boys know you are out of the closet. It must feel good to get that out in the open. I have no use for 2 players that will be a combined -50. Our scoring categories favour forwards, so my D can suck all they want. So much so infact, that I only have 5 D right now, that is how much I care about my D.

5) Lanky says: It must make you feel real big to take ignorant personal shots at people too. I\'ll be sure to call you a fatherless douchebag next time.

dude,don\'t skimp on your D!

I\'m not, just wanted to get my point accross that I think Forwards are more important than D and I didn\'t like his deal. I have Schneider on the IR right now and making moves to get another D. Obviously I didnt use players name in the post just in case Lanky is trying to move them to others...gotta try and keep some integrity.

P.S.

Forwards aren\'t really that much more important than defenders in this system btw... and I\'ve never seen anyone win ANY type of pool without a balanced team.

When you have positions designated for defenders, having sucky defenders doesn\'t help you... just as having sucky forwards doesn\'t help you when there are designated forward spots...

Just my take.

I always think that it\'s better to have average or above average guys at every position than superior guys at just one position and less than average guys at others...
