Default Too much D? A tough trade...

Recently I was offered up Gonchar for my Paul Stastny.

Now, in my league, it\'s CCCCLLLLRRRRDDDD, 4 utilities, 2 goalies, and 3 bench(combining for a 25 player roster). It\'s an 18 team head-to-head keeper league that scores G,A,+/-,PIM,PPG,PPA,SHP and W,GAA,SV% and SHO for goalies.

Normally, since Gonchar is fantasy gold, I\'d make the trade. The thing is...I have what I consider to be a killer D.
-Ryan Whitney
-JM Liles
-Matt Carle
-Jack Johnson
-Kris Letang
-Cory Murphy
And uhh...Derek Morris, but he gets me valuable PIMs.

My Centers aren\'t as deep, though they\'re pretty solid.
-Brad Richards
-Joe Thornton
-Paul Stastny
-Peter Mueller
-Patrick O\'Sullivan
-Tomas Fleischmann

It it worth sending Stastny away for such a powerhouse defenseman? I\'d have 8 D, and would likely have to fill all my Util slots with them(currently housing Fleisch, O\'Sully, Callahan and Calder).

It\'s the first trade ever that\'s made me consider breaking my \"best player available\" rule. For the position, Gonchar is among the best, if not the best. Still, his contract is running out. Stastny is a great talent, but I don\'t see him hitting over 95 in his career. I have future depth in both areas, so I need some people to help me think this one through.

I agree... I would rather have Stastny in this case, especially since its a keeper.
