My hockey pool has been with TQ Stats for over 7 years. The reason we chose them back then was because we have a complex head-to-head scoring system and they were the only ones that I found that could handle it. They were able to do this because they offered custom scoring and custom head-to-head scheduling for a modest fee and claimed that they could handle any league\'s scoring system no matter how complex.
The first few years were okay but the last 2 years have not been so good. Customer service has been terrible. Support has dwindled and now starting this year they do not offer custom scoring for any of their leagues anymore. I have called them toll-free and have gotten into arguments with them several times. So why are we still with them ?? Its because I can\'t find another site that is able to offer custom head-to-head scheduling. My league plays 2 games a week (not weekly games) and I have not been able to find any other site that can handle this. I would switch over to CBS right away but they only offer weekly games. Bottom line: I would not recommend TQ Stats to anyone. Does anyone know a hockey league management site that will allow be to customize a little bit (especially the schedule) ?? We use TQ. I actually fired them on Monday, but had to eat crow and come back because they are the only Roto company that I could find that tracks hits.
The service this year REALLY SUCKS. This will be our 5th year with them. The previous years have been much better than this year. Without going into too much detail, they were not able to get us simple things (last years stats, free agent list, etc.) that they were able to every other year. I would NOT recommend TQ at this point. The only reason we went back is because of the one category. Two companies I found that looked pretty good, were; www.rotowire.com www.fantasyrotohockey.com They both charge only 69.99. TQ is 99.99. ...and the cream of the crop is www.allstarstats.com They charge $45....PER TEAM....they are terrific though... |

Our league has been with TQ for a few years now, and they are gradually providing less and less quality. We are actually looking for a good alternative site for our hockey league.

I used tqstats for a couple of years. They suck, all the negative feedback is well deserved. I told my managers that I would be switching sites this season. So I went to cbssportsline, I like it so far.

TQ sucks. We\'ve used them for 4 or 5 years now ONLY because we separate Defensive categories and Offensive categories to give O and D equal weight.
NO SITE DOES THIS for the most part. So we continue to use them. We used the for our baseball league, but moved to CBS. This year, anytime i make any transactions, my ROSTERS DISAPPEAR for the whole league and I have to call them! This is getting old! I have to call them again tomorrow and the season starts tomorrow! GREAT!
