Any Habs fans here? Man, that was painful to say(Leafs fan) :whistle:

Aside from Tomas Plekanec\'s hat-trick and 6 pts, in the pre-season.
How has he looked?

Is this his coming out party or just a big Tease?

Pleks is going to do relatively well this season. He had a good preseason and he looks good. While I am not going to move him into the upper echelon of points getters I would not flinch in saying he is a better than average player.

He was one of montreals most consistent players after the All-Star break last season, then he followed that with a great performance in the World Championship. I\'d say he\'s ready to really take on that 2nd line C position between probably Kovalev and Kostitsyn. Now he still does play in Montreal(im a habs fan), which means i\'d max him at 65 points, with more then likely a 60 point season

I guess I should be more specific. I think he is a decent bottom of the roster guy depending on rules. I don\'t thing I would start him on my 7 forward starting lineup. He is playing in preseason like a star but I think he is just an occasional situation starter especially on Montreal.

I tend to agree, while he will probably never be an upper-echelon player, it seems he will make a decent depth/injury-replacement guy.
Either that or I drop him into obscurity

Don\'t drop him if you have a bench spot for him - depending on your roster size. He will be one of their better players and will take over the #1C role in Montreal next year - until the Habs go out and land a true #1.

He has skill but I agree 100% with the posters here, his mx is probably between 65-70 pts because he plays in Montreal.

Thanks, I cant beleive my first Karma is from a Leafs fan. My first one sent is to a Leafs fan. Armageddon is upon us!

I think you are forgetting a little man known as Captain Koivu. I dont see Plek\'s replacing him that soon.
