Our keeper draft took place this past weekend, and following the draft, we can drop player from our roster, and pick up undrafted players as much as we want until the season starts.

Cory Murphy (FLA) and Ivan Hlinka (COL) were not picked up and I am seriously interested in picking one or both up. What I would like to know is whom should I drop (if any) and is it worth the gamble.

Both Murphy and Hlinka are worth taking at this point. Definitely drop Langenbrunner, he\'s toast for the reg season stats. Think about picking him up again at some point before the playoffs if NJ looks like they are going to make some noise in the post season.

I would drop Howard for my second drop. He is really the 3rd string guy behind Hasek and Osgood. I know Osgood hasn\'t had a great pre-season, but that won\'t matter. With the number of great young goalies out there, surely you could find another one if the mood strikes you.

Make those moves, both Murphy and Hlinka will be contributors this season.

I like notch\'s suggestion

Drop langenbruner and howard for them. Howard is not only lowest on the detroit depth chart, but he\'s lowest on your fantasy depth chart as well. Price will be good for the future and you should be able to get a good substitute for Howard.

agreed..langenbrunner and howard can go without a thought. Im really starting to wonder why murphy is available in so many leagues..including mine. Cant wait till the season starts and i grab him for free.
