Hello Wildhendy:
I would prefer to own Comrie but it wouldn\'t be for \'a lifetime\'. Comrie will have more of a role, and opportunity, with the Islanders than Fisher will have with Ottawa. Comrie is likely to be the first line centre for NYI. Fisher is likely to be third line. Fisher is also reportedly injured at this time. I would go with Comrie. I would let him build up his value and then move him. I just don\'t think he is very motivated. He seems to have images of \'Brick\'s\' dancing in his head. My thoughts. |

Both aren\'t really known for staying healthy but still Fisher, by his grinding play, is a much bigger risk IMO. And point wise Comrie no doubt has the edge.

I think I would prefer Comrie - Fisher still hasn\'t shown that he can play 75 games, let alone 80. Comrie gets one more fresh start and is worth the risk.

Comrie. He\'s playing 1st line minutes and probably 1st PP unit minutes. In the event that he explodes, it\'s a steal for you, and that\'s a good time to sell him. If he tanks, then what have you lost? You\'re not picking him 1st overall (I hope) so you take risks like this at the end of the draft and you likely can\'t \"lose\" much.

Fisher is currently penciled in for 2nd line duty with Alfredsson, but is a huge injury risk (already missing a bit of training camp). Also is on a contract year. In the long run I\'d put them as being fairly equal: both are injury prone, and both are the same age; but with Comrie having the edge in skill. However Fisher seems to be more of a \"core\" type player that teams build around while Comrie might hate being a journeyman and lose (more) interest. For this season; too many questions about the Sens\' lines -- go with Comrie as his upside is higher and more achievable. |
