This year me and my friends decided to make our league a keeper league. We can keep players for up to 4 years. That being said I\'m a huge fan of Toews and would like to snag him but I\'m just wondering were you guys would draft him??

helps if we know how many players you can keep , how many you drop , scoring system , toews is expexted to get around 60+ pts in his rookie season so depending on the depth of your draft he could go as early as top 10 and as late as the 3rd round,maybe later.

hey, im in a 10 team keepers like yourself. we keep our players, dont drop em but i think i can help you out.

im a big toews fan, managed to snag him in the 8th round of the player draft (not prospect draft). i wouldnt try for him in the top 10, hes not worth it. i got him way way later. toews is a valuable asset but rookies often get forgotten in the player draft (excpet backstrom went 3rd round in our league for some reason....EJ went like 13th round). look at the 6th round for when hes taken, you seem to really like him so thats when id start considering him. dont, dont draft him in the top 10 or even top 3 rounds, definetely not worth it. 1st round is for luongo, heatley, malkin, crosby, AO, spezza, kovie and hossa....toews doesnt belong in that group. thats my thoughts, but i feel strongly and im pretty certain youll be able to grab him in the 6th round. if someone takes him earlier, its their loss.

I think he should be taken late in the 6th round or early in the 7th round in your draft. However if you have an early draft spot that will be out of sync for you - so you may have a call to make if he falls to you in the 6th. With a late draft slot - and he comes to you in the 6th - then you could grab him or risk waiting a few picks to take him in the 7th - depends who is left at the time I think.
