1. Thorton/Heatley
3. Malkin 4. Spezza (although I think if this guy can stay healthy we are going to see serious numbers from him)

Hello,
depends on your point system. If extra points for goal I go this way Heatley. Will probably make minimum 40 goals is entire carrer playing with Spezza. Will assist for an other 50. Thornton. will give you a solid 25 goal and in average 85 plus assist. and he is a safe pic. Malkin. I dont think he is should considered as a typical russian, he as the high the weight and toughness to compete physical.40 goals and 60 plus assist. With the Crosby factor is very easy for him acheave year in and year out. Spezza, will give your 30 goal and 60 assist in 70 games because he his fragile and plays in a tough division with allot of hate and Toronto, Boston, Buffalo, Montreal love to hit him hard. ist almost a garanty that he will break every year. No extra point for goals. I go this way. Malkin. if you love a bit of risk because he is russian But i would take him first. Thorthon. Safe pick. Heatley. Safe pick Spezza. because of injury or else he would be second on this list because he is younger then thornton. this is my opinion thanks MDM |

Malkin first. His bottom line for potential is 100 points a season, but the prospect of 150+ is there, and you\'ll be kicking yourself later if you pass that up.
Next: Thornton, because assists are equally valued with goals. He will consistently outscore Heatley and Spezza. But not by much for long, I think. Then: Heatley. He is more consistent and less injury-prone than Spezza. Then Spezza, who is streakier and more prone to injury. I\'m assuming you\'ll only get one, though. So while I\'m a little more nervous about ranking Thornton ahead of Heatley due to the age difference, I don\'t even hesitate before placing Malkin first among the four.

I think you\'re getting a little excited there TG.

Perhaps. If it is \"+\" we\'re talking +3 or +4, but I do think that the prospect of 150-155 pts in his prime with Crosby and Staal is there. Think \"almost gretzky\" and \"almost lemieux\" on the same pp unit and team. I don\'t think I\'ll be missing many Caps-Pens games over the next few years...
