Hey guys, I\'m in a standard yahoo H2H... I need some roster guidance. I have 4 bench spots. I have Nagy as my Lw backup, and Michalak on my Rw backup. For goalies, i have Fleury, Toskala, Huet, Biron. I am also short a Defenseman. I really don\'t wanna cut one of the goalies i have, because I think they could all be good. Ideally I want to trade one of them early in the year once i get a feel for how good they are. I\'m pretty set on my other players, so I just need some ideas what to do to get my line up set... its not perfect yet, but i think it has potential.

It\'s easy Mike - go short a D guy for now and wait it out - or are you in one of those leagues that mandates a certain number of D starts each day/week?

I would at least kick some tires with Huet and see what kind of rearguard I could get with him. It\'s worth asking the question. So yes, hang onto them and as soon as trades are allowed, shop like crazy. Huet is good, but I suspect he will have some injury problems...

its a h2h format in yahoo. i get one spot for utility. to be honest, i\'ve thought about moving fleury for a \'phaneuf type\', but i need to be somewhat strong in net, not to mention fluery\'s value is going up. i\'ve thought about packaging sedin with a goalie to get a D man, but its been challenging to get a firm trade in mind. furthermore, we can trade for next year\'s draft picks. there are 4 keepers per team, so the first round of picks is like the 5th round, but still, there is lots of value with a first round pick, etc. any ideas?

one last thing. i drafted huet biron last 2 rounds becuase i simply thought they were too good to go to free agency. teams in my pool know this, and i am the only team with 4 goalies. they are giving me a very hard time in \&quot;taking one of my goalies\&quot;, even though it would be a good deal, cuz they think i will simply drop one sooner or later.

could sundin and a goalie get you an upgrade at c and a d to fill in your roster?

You are gambling on someone needing one of those goalies and each of those guys performing decently and since that is your strategy I really think you need to wait on it and in fact be quiet about any interest in trading a goalie. If your gamble works you will get far more for Huet later than you will now.

I really don\'t see anything obvious for you to try right now - it\'s a long season and patience can really pay off if your boys pay their bills.
