Default Keeper trades

Hi Guys,

Keeper league, 4 keepers, 11 teams. G=2p, Ass=1p. +/- = 0.2p. Positional requirements.

Just pulled the trigger on a trade where I got Vanek for Briere. Think I did good here as that good LWs are hard to come by.

Comments?

Now I am glazing at Ovechkin thinking about offering Hossa and Vanek for him and a 2:d round pick? He is currently held by a Caps fan so I think it will be very hard to take him. The 2nd round pick could give me a decent D (pitkanen, zubov, bowmeester). Am I over/underpaying? More interested in the formaer naturally :P

The Vanek for Briere deal was reasonably fair - tends to be relative to each teams needs.

I think your other idea might be an underpay - personally I would not give up Ovechkin and Bouwmeester for Hossa and Vanek. You need not be embarassed to try it, those are 2 quality players on offer. You make it happen then I think you win. Again it\'s relative to team needs.

Great trade -- as you said a LW is worth way more than a comparable C. On top of that, Vanek should outperform Briere in goals and plus-minus.

Your other trade offer -- at first I thought you were overpaying by a lot, but then I remembered that you\'ve only got 4 keepers. So I think Vanek plus Hossa is a stiff price to pay but it would be worth it to land Ovechkin as one of your 4 keepers.

Good luck!

I would never trade Ovechkin for Hossa and Vanek...never mind the pick.
If you can pull it off, all the power...but if as you say he is a Caps fan, I just don\'t see it happening...
