Is he worth keeping? Everyone keeps telling me how good this guy is, but I don\'t see him getting traded anytime soon (with Giguere out). My draft is in a couple of weeks...have to make a decision on this guy.

As far as I know Giguere will be back for the start of the season. However, if Giguere is going to miss time you should definitely hang onto Bryzgalov as Anaheim should win a few games. B)

I am hanging on to him. He will be a number #1 somewhere... the only question is when.

Hello BigB \'et al\'

Don\'t let him go. There has been some suggestion recently that Giguere is going to be out come the start of the season. That may or may not be the case. If Giguere is ready, then Bryzgalov gets traded. If he isn\'t ready, then Bryzgalov starts. Regardless, it is a win/win for Bryzgalov. He gets to start and his value goes up. Bryzgalov wins/Ducks win. Burke knows what he is doing. He is protecting his interests. Bryzgalov will either start in Anaheim or somewhere else. He is good. Don\'t give up on him.

My thoughts.

What\'s going on with Giggy? I haven\'t heard of him being hurt.

Hello elevatemysoul \'et al\'

It was reported that Giguere did have surgery for a sports hernia. This was some time back. Recently, some have speculated, that he might not be ready for the start of the season. I think it is speculation.

Giguere should be ready for the start of the season. He had surgery around the 5th of this month and they expect him to miss around 4 weeks which would be the first week of September. If all goes as planed Giguere will be between the pipes in London.
