Default Trying to get PARISE

Hi,

I am also trying to get Zach Parise from another pooler (in our keeper league). I think it is worthed to try to negociate for him because the pooler is probably not fully aware of PARISE\'s value. Here are the players I am willing to negociate. Remember that I am willing to sacrifice this year and I am building for next year or so and I want to get rid of veterans. Willing to let go;

Kyle Calder
Bryan Berard (D)
Ray Whitney
Dan Hamuis (D)
J.P. Dumont
Steve Rucchin
Mark Parrish

I am willing to give 2 or 3 players for Parise but I don\'t want to let go Dumont and Whitney at the same time.

Thanks

i would not even start trade talk with the list of players you have.
parise is a potential superstar.

you have ZERO chance with the list you made. not even close

I\'d have to agree with Wimpy. If someone in my league offered me any of those players for Parise I would definitely not even look at it. But if this guy has no knowledge about hockey players then you have a chance. I\'d even give him like 3 or 4 of those players for Parise.

Agreed with the others. Unless the owner is completely clueless you shouldn\'t be able to land Parise for ALL of those players. As I am constantly telling people in my league... you can\'t get good young players with spare parts.

R. Whitney and J.P. Dumont are the only guys with any real fantasy worth on your list. I think you have to offer both of these guys to land Parise [and that\'s if the other GM is drinking at the time...I suggest you buy the rounds].

It\'s not unlikely Parise puts up better points that Whitney this season already...this makes Dumont a throw in 60-70 point player [there\'s got to be tons of those available]. IF the GM is completely unaware of Parise\'s value offer both these players and appear to be overpaying.

I will also have to agree that none of those are on the same level as Parise and any smart GM would not take any trade with those players you listed

sorry, but if you came to me and said, \"i want parise\", and then offered me a package with those players, i would say i was not interested and then not trade with you for trying to HORRIBLY LOW BALL ME. This guy may not be \"aware\" of parise\'s full potential, but dumont is the best player on that list and it would take about 4 or 5 dumonts to pry parise away from me.

Hey Saku

All you can do is try by making an offer - it really costs you nothing (some might think different). My only advice would be to go with your best offer from that group of players. I don\'t think the guy would be insulted if you offered Dumont and Whitney at the same time (I know you don\'t want to do that but the truth is Parise is worth more than that). If the guy is maybe not aware as you say - he just might bite - both those players have decent reputations and production and he might be fooled.

Good luck with this.
