sure gilbert has had a couple injuries early in his career but i think people are writing him off way to early, he\'s what 20. he had almost as much hype going into last yr as toews does this yr.
anyway who do u guys like out of the 2. i gotta make a decision. goals are worth 2 and assist\'s 1. |

I\'ve made it clear in other posts that I think Brule\'s the real deal, however if this is a one year deal take ouellet. Unless Brule wins the top center job in Columbus he won\'t break 40 points. Ouellet on the other hand figures to play with richards in Tampa and there\'s the potential there that they could renew their old chemistry.

I agree with Big_DL in a keeper league I would with Brule, in a non keeper pool Ouellet.

I agree with the posters above. Ouellet is a no brainer for just one year as Brule as way more upside. He\'ll probably end up playing with Richards.
There\'s one thing though that worries me regarding Brule : his style of play doesn\'t mesh well with his size. I fear he\'ll have an injury filled career. Not much unlike Koivu. |

Agreed. The bottom line here is that neither has been a great player so far, but of the two Brule has by far the greatest upside.
Even reunited with Richards, Ouellet has little to no shot of matching Brule\'s potential for 90 points. In a one-year pool, though, I also agree that Ouellet may be the better grab this season. And ONLY this season.
