I am in a 13 team points only keeper league where each GM can protect 7 players from last year. A bit more background... I hope to finish top 3 but don\'t think I have enough to win it all this year.
My top 6 are set, but i\'m struggling with my decision for #7. I have to choose between Nagy, Comrie, Stillman and Prospal. My gut tells me to keep Comrie... even bad teams score goals - hopefuly he\'s in on many of them, but will Nagy thrive in LA with the young firepower around him? In the back of my head its hard to ignore that Stillman is generally a point per game player when healthy and Prospal usually follows up 55 point seasons with 80 point ones... So i\'m thoroughly confused - who would you keep? Post edited by: Jason, at: 2007/08/15 11:11

You know what you should maybe keep NAGY in LA I think he will put on a lot of point there. That team will be only offensive so....
So if I was you I would protect him....Comrie is a no go for me....Prospal isn\'t a bad choice too...and Stillman Could still be the man...but I think you should take a chance with NAGY! |

My choice would go with Nagy or Stillman.
Nagy has the most upside of that group though he\'s very injury-prone (I believe he played his first full season last year). He\'ll be playing for one of the best offensive in the West. Stillman on the other hand is very regular. Forget his last season where he struggled after a surgery and few injuries. Comrie has no upside IMO. I see him as a 60pts guy. He also misses his share of games. Since you seem to have given up on winning your pool for this year, I\'d take the risk with Nagy. Hope it helps... |

I would also go with Nagy or Stillman. If Nagy stays healthy he could put up good numbers with LA\'s firepower. Stillman should bounce back nicely now that he\'s healthy - actually, I think the Canes as a whole will rebound a bit this year.
Prospal alternates between good years and bad, and according to the pattern he\'s due for a good one. He\'s also playing for a new contract, so in theory he could have a big year. If you\'re into risk he could pay off, but his wild inconsistency scares me. Comrie... meh. He\'ll get his points, but I think the others have more upside.

I would pick either Nagy or Prospal.
As mentionned already, Nagy can be a real offensive threat with the new LA team. As for Prospal, Dobber mentionned that he has a pattern \"good/bad\" years. He had is bad year last year so he should have a good one this year. This is just stats, but can be as good as Nagy.

If it is between the four I would take either Nagy or Prospal. Only because they will both be playing for contracts. Stillman has some injury issues and I am not sure he is over them yet. Comrie, well I just don\'t like him, I think he is a brat. But with that being said he should put up some points being the number one center in NYI. Comrie should score the most goals out of the bunch but I think with Prospal\'s linemates he can outscore the pack.
Take Prospal, you are taking a gamble on all 4 anyways. Zorro..good luck.
