Default Nash

Ok, in my keeper league I just got an offer for me to trade Nash for Stempniak and Ehrhoff. I love Nash but I\'ve heard nothing really positive about him and the team and I really like Stempniak, should I pull the trigger or just keep Nash.

No, I wouldn\'t do this trade. Nash is still a franchise player and has much more potential than Stempniak.

I also have Nash on my keeper team and I can tell you for sure that I would reject this deal if it were given to me. And personally, I would not trade him at the moment as his stock is pretty low right now. Unless you\'re getting full value, I would wait out till the season.

It depends on your scoring system....do goals count more than assists?
Is it just a straight points league?
Are you required to dress d-men?

Stempniak and Nash should be relatively close in goals this year, but Nash should have more points in total.
Ehrhoff should get 10-12 goals, and around 20-25 assists.
Unless he sweetens the offer a lttle, I would narrowly hang onto Nash for now.

Nope wouldn\'t do this - Nash is the best player here and you should hang onto him for now - I think you will find more trade value for him during the season. Being on the 1 side of a 2 for 1, always means to me that I need to being seeing a very solid gain in the 2 guys I am getting - just don\'t see that here.

wouldnt even think about it. You better be getting something better back in return for Nash or it should be a no go..

Hello smack 1919 \'et al\'

I am going with Zorro here. You know what you have with Nash but he could give you more. Stempniak \'et al\', who knows?

Go with the known. Go with Nash.

My thoughts.

Buy low...sell high! This is a horrible time to trade Nash (and his upside) and a great time to purchase him.

Columbus may not turn things around anytime soon, so he may be a move-able commodity, but wait til he puts up a great couple weeks of scoring before fielding offers (unless the guy throws something silly like Malkin at you).
