Hey, I just did my first keeper league draft, (keep 4 players end of the year), in a standard yahoo pool. I thought I\'d share my team and ask for ideas.
The stats are pretty standard: G, A, +/-, PPP, SHP, SHOTS, GWG, W, SV%, GAA, SO. My draft order: Ovechkin, Iginla, Fleury, Gaborik, Richards, Mccabe, H. Sedin, Sundin, Michalak, Toskala, Liles, Bieksa, Parise, Nagy, Huet, Biron. My team shapes up like this: Center: Sedin, Richards Left: Michalak, OVechkin Right: Iginla, Gaborik D: Mccabe, Bieksa, Liles, (one short) G: FLeury, TOskala, Biron, Huet Util: Sundin Bench: Parise, Nagy what are your thoughts? I\'d love any feedback |

Looks like you did a good job. You have 4 good keepers some good now players and nice depth. The thing i would like to know is whats the deal with being short a d man? Can you aquire one? Whats the penalty for being short? And if you are penalized and can aquire one then you need to get on it

i took huet and biron last 2 picks, i simply thought they are too good to go to FA market, and i\'ll hold them until i see some good trade offers or see how those goalies play out.
not having a D man will cost me a few stats, but hopefully i can manage. |

Yah your goalie depth could be great for trading. But what i meant was is there an easy way to get that 4\'th d? Like free agent signing or the like?

to add a player i\'ll have to drop a player, SO im gonna have to wait and see, Ideally i want 3 goalies, so i\'m gonna see how it all pans out.

Hard to tell how you did without knowing league size - could be fanatastic or really bad.

Looks pretty decent - good mix of offense in that crew - might struggle in +/- every week - not sure your goaltenders are going to be as good as you need them to be week in and week out.
I would be reasonably happy to take this team forward - there are a few guys on the roster who could make a big difference if they get in the groove and stay healthy - Nagy, Gaborik and Sundin. You should be able to get these guys to the playoffs.
