Hey guys, someone in my league (3 more years left in keeper) has just offered me Lupul/mid round pick for legwand. I already have an excess of C, and arnott, is this a legit deal? im not in NEED of W, but i could ddefinately use some improvement.

I think it all depends on who else is on your roster. You say you have excess at the center spot, but who are your current centers and wingers?

I would take this deal. Since you said your pretty stacked in the center position, I think this is a reasonable gamble to take. Also, with 3 years still left, Lupul still have a lot of time to recover from that forgettable season last year. Plus, that mid-level pick should be decent.

bye-bye legwand. the risk is worth it on lupul. if he doesn\'t pan out it wont hurt you that much. 60-70 point wingers are a dime-a-dozen. If lupul works out you look like a genius. just do some homework and make the pick worth while. I like this trade, though. I say do it.

It sounds like you won\'t be using Legwand with all the centers ahead of him on your depth chart. Legwand\'s value may never be higher than right now - he\'s just had a career year and Nashville\'s looking like they are worried more about the money than winning.

Lupul has lots of motivation this season. Last year he was brutal. A new start may be just what the doctor ordered. Playing with Jeff Carter and Scott Hartnell could be the tonic he needs to regain his goal scoring touch.

I\'d make the deal, you\'re not losing much with Legwand (as your 5th or 6th center) vs Lupul and a mid-round pick.
