Default more valuable player

Hi Guys,

Can you tell me which player is more valuable for my pool. Thanks!
In my keeper league, each goalie receive 2pts for a win + 3 pts for a shutout
The D-man and fowards have 1pt for a assist or a goal.

12 teams
15 players each team count for the result (1 goalie, 4-D and 10-F)
10 players on bench! Changes every month.
Almost 300 players on the road. At the end of the year, each team protect 15 players.

Thats what i think. Are you agree?

1) D-Man with 70 pts or more (very rare, maybe Whitney or Gonchar, Lidstrom sometimes)
2) Foward with 100 pts and more (10 players max)
3) Goalie with 100 pts or more (Brodeur, Luongo, maybe 3-4 more)
4) D-Man with 60-69 pts (very rare too, Pronger, Lidstrom for sure, maybe 3-4 others)
5) Foward with 90-99 pts (maybe 12-15)
6) Rookie long shot for 90 pts and more in 2-3 years (like Radulov, Backstrom)
7) Foward with 80-89 pts (maybe 15 and sometimes one player gets more one year)
8) D-Man with 50-59 pts (maybe 12-15,iceman)
9) D-Man with 40-49 pts (safe one too)
10) Rookie-D for long shot 40 or more in 2-3 years (like Russel)
11) Foward with 70-79 pts (safe one like Marleau)
12) Goalie with 80-99 pts (you choose a team )
13) D-Man with 30-39 pts (you hope more for one year)
14) Foward with 60-69 pts (a guess, sleeper or you dont\'have choice )
15) Foward with 50-59 pts (you simply need somebody and pray!)

Then if you begin your team..do you prefer:
Whitney ?
Heatley ?
Luongo ?

E Johnson ?
Towes ?

Thanks again...

If you can\'t get Crosby or Ovechkin.I would start with a Goalie(Luongo Brodeur or Kipper).

i like the format you have used as a start up. what i would consider with this tho is in the end points matter most, as hard as it is to get a D man who gets 70 points is he worth more than the guy who gets 120. thats a 50 point difference and when the totals are added up you\'re going to want those 50 points. in saying that i think i\'d go

2
3
1
5
4
7
6
8
9
12
11
10
13
14
15

out of those players you\'ve listed, luongo. not sure what happened to the major stars, have they been drafted already?

gonna be interesting to see how everyone else thinks.

I think outside of AO, Crosby, or Malkin, I am going for a goalie (group 3) in this format. (I actually took Luongo over Malkin in a keeper this year.) I then look for top end forwards. I put 70 pt D-man with the same grouping at 90+ pt forwards. I would imagine that most of groups 1, 2, 3, and 5 are gone by the end of the 2nd or 3rd round of the draft depending on the size of the league.

But, if you can get Crosby/Ovechkin/Thornton take them before the big D-man !

Hello dantan \'et al\':

I agree with Pete but would add Malkin, to his list, before taking the D.
