Huh? I don\'t understand the logic here. What fantasy impact would there be to owning both?

Hello Fighting_Emu \'et al\'

Emu: The positive of owning both is that if Henrik gets an assist, in the majority of their play, Daniel gets the goal. If one gets a point the other will also get a point. So essentially you are doubling your points on a goal. (It is my understanding that in Yahoo scoring there is no point differential on goals/assists.)

The negative side of owning both is if they both aren\'t \'going\' then you aren\'t \'going\'. The other consideration is whether or not you like to dress two or more players from the same team in a week. If that particular team falters then you stand to falter more than if you had only dressed one of the players.

You might consider the Heatley/Spezza circumstance to be similar. Would you prefer to own one or both, considering the positive and negative sides? I am not suggesting that Heatley or Spezza are similar to the Sedins. I am just drawing a similarity in their situations.

Hope that makes sense.

I\'m a Canuck\'s fan, but I always think the Sedin\'s are overrated. Having said that, every year they post better numbers than I predict. I think they\'re the proven commodity here. I don\'t think their upside is considerably higher than 85-90 points, but their +/- and PP point stats should be considerably better than Hemsky\'s for some years to come.

Consider this. Next summer Vancouver can off-load the ridiculous contracts of Morrison and Naslund [although the way the GMs are paying for UFAs right now maybe that will be the going rate by then for under-achievers] and actually ice a legitimate 2nd line which should only help the Sedins by reducing media pressure for them to always score.

Stick with H. Sedin!

Not necessarily a fantasy impact (aside from them both being good at hockey), it\'s just nice to have them both on the same team. Especially if you watch any Canuck games.

It\'s funny...both my keeper leagues have (and always had) both Sedins on the same team. In one of them, they have been traded twice, both times as a package.

I think it\'s cause if you\'re a fan of the Sedins you just love them both... so speaking from experience, once I get one in the pool, the thought of trying to add the second one makes me drool...

Yes it can be safely stated that when one scores the other is getting the a on it but I still cant see how that is a plus factor in terms of working out trade value. You have your projections in place with regard to said players linemate anyways so I just cant see the bonus there. That being said I can totally understand wanting them both from a fan and spectators standpoint. After all these pools are about fun and whats funner than watching the sedins cycle circles around the opposition (maybe watching Luongo if you have him- lol). Anyways I just thought it was a funny little quirk how often they are kept together in pools...

Personally I like having them both because I have bad eyesight and when I\'m watching the ticker on TV and I see Sedin, I don\'t care if it\'s D or H, I know I\'m getting points.

I too am in a keeper league where the Sedin\'s are owned by the same guy. I can\'t think of another \"pair\" of players that play on the same NHL team that are as commonly owned in keeper leagues as the twins.
