My list would be:
1a) Nicklas Backstrom: Any playmaker who gets to play with Oveckin or even Semen is gonna rack up the points.

1b) Eric Johnson: I only have him as 1B incase D is a bigger need then C is for you.

Patrick O\'Sullivan: Great Offensive upside should be a part of the Kings new look team in the future

Wojtek Wolski: Should continue to have great success with either Sakic or Stasny

Marek Svatos: I really hope this guy bounces back a drop of 20 points in scary, however it could be his sophmore jinx.....hopefully

Kyle Wellwood: Maybe im too hard on this guy, but i really see him as a band-aid boy. He is way to small to be given enough minutes for him to have a huge fantasy impact.

Matthew Lombardi: Havent seen this guy play too much so i cant really rate him

Thanks. I have all these young players on my team and know if I should protect them all or some some. Putting them in order of value really helps. It is a perpetual league with a 425 million dollar pre-draft protection cap..

Hey coldsquad:

Backstrom(Was)
E.Johnson
O\'Sullivan
Wolski
Wellwood
Lombardi
Svatos

--that would be my rankings, I think you could get something for both Svatos and Lombardi, they are not trash and shouldn\'t just be let go. Trade them for futures.. Package them up..

I\'m tempted to go Erik Johnson as #1. Stud d-men dont come along every day. I think EJ can be a 60 pt 100 pim dman. which to my mind is quite rare. Backstrom I think is a 90-100 pt center, those arent easy to find but its easier to find than a 60/100 dman. Either way you\'re sitting pretty.

After the top 2 I\'d go
O\'Sullivan - top notch offensive skill set on an offensively orriented team with other top notch forwards
Lombardi - This may be a shock, but Keenan has a long history of developing young talent and Lombardi has shown what he can do (WHC) when playing with the top notch talent
Wellwood - as long as he stays healthy and gets ice time he seems to put up points. With the new rules his lack of size doesnt seem to matter nearly as much
Wolski - INcOnSIStenT
Svatos - Major flop last year, he\'s gonna get stuck on the 3rd line this year. I\'m not convinced he\'s for real, and wont be until he shows signs of a rebound.
