lupul had a bad season but was on verge of stardom the year before.
stastny is a great set up man.

That\'s is a tough call, Statsny like you said is a great set up man and did post a point a game last year but Lupul has had a 29 goal season and could duplicate that with some playing time in philly, he just needs to get his confidence back.

Off the top of my head I go with the sure thing - Stastny

I also would go with Stastny, although with goals counting as 2-1 over assists, it does make it a lot closer. Stastny is the sure thing. Although Lupul getting a brand new start on a vastly improved team is intriguing. It definitely is a tough call.

Lupul was 28g 25a in his \"breakout\" 2nd season

Stastny was 28g 50a in his \"rookie\" season


There is NO COMPARISON between these two, take stastny, and watch him out score and out point lupul for the rest of their respective careers.

Anyone from Edmonton would tell you keep Stastny and run, however, Lupul may re-locate his scoring touch in Philly depending on who he lines up with.

I\'d take Stastny - learning more under Burnaby Joe will be tremendous for him and the Avs provide a gretaer amount of scorers around him.
