how would you rank these players in a yahoo fantasy keeper league (G, A, P, +/-, PIM, SHP, PPP, GWG, Shots):
Dan Boyle Ryan Whitney Shea Weber Sheldon Souray Kimmo Timonen Matt Carle Kevin Bieksa also, do you think Souray\'s 60+ point season was because of his contract year? I mean the guy had a 25 point increase and double his PP points from 2 seasons ago. Is he a lock for 50+ points, 100+ PIMs in Edmonton? |

A nice list Cronox. I will offer you my opinion but consider that I have no experience with your scoring system. My list is how I perceive their fantasy value, considering their team and their ages. I know that Timonen is the oldest, 32yrs, (if that is old) but I think he will have a great career in Philadelphia. Souray is last because of his lack of supporting cast, at the current time anyway.
l. Whitney-24 yrs, 14g,45a (playing in Pittsburgh) 2. Weber - 21 yrs, 17g,23a (his role with the Predators is going up) 3. Boyle- 28 yrs, 20g,43a (I really like him) 4. Carle - 22 yrs, 11g,31a (pp qb in San Jose, role will increase) 5. Bieksa- 26 yrs, 12g,30a (role is going up with Canucks) 6. Timonen- 32 yrs, 13g,42a (should have similar year) 7. Souray- 31yrs, 26g,38a (he won\'t have anywhere near the same points) |

for now I put boyle ahead of Weber While it\'s true Weber\'s role will go up, I believe Nashvilees scoring will be diminished, so I see Webber getting only a slight point increase while Boyle should stay relatively the same. The other Difference I have is Souray over Carle Souray will not have the same numbers, but he will log extreme minutes in Edmonton compared to Carle, and therefore even though Edmonton will not be as offensive as Sj, Souray should be in on a decent amount that they do score.....but those are just my thoughts |

I agree with the Souray bump - you\'ve also got to take into account his 110+ PIMS. That definitely increases his value a great deal (he was rated on par with McCabe in my league last year, and love him or hate him, McCabe is an amazing fantasy d-man, especially when taking into account his PIM totals).

For this year\'s production I would rank them has follows:
1. Whitney 2. Timonen 3. Boyle 4. Weber 5. Carle 6. Bieksa 7. Souray Long term in a keeper league I would bump up Whitney, Weber and Carle a couple of spots due to skill level and youth. I realize that Whitney can\'t really go any higheron your list, but long term he will be incredible and should still distance himself from the rest by a couple of spots!!
