Perreault and Spurgeon both likely hit their games max this season meaning this will be the last season i can keep them on the farm

Perreault will also hit the age limit even if he doesnt hit the game limit

i am leaning towards dumping Spurgeon as i have quite a few prospect defensemen already and i am not sure he has enough of an offensive upside to overcome his seeming lack of physical play given hits and blocks are cats in the league

any other thoughts

Spurgeon would be the guy I cut as well..

Id actually like to see your roster, How many starters(want to see depth of league)Cats and how you are doing overall. Chance to win? Rebuilding?

Sorry if im asking alot. Just like to get a full picture.

Maybe its just me but I would probably drop one of your goalies. I dont see any of them being long term fantasy contributors.

i had a rough start of things with only one goalie and rinne having such an abysmal start but have been keeping in the hunt currently holding the last playoff spot

they well many not be but so far goalies are looking impossible to come by so i almost feel like i need to take a gamble in this regard

i put galchenyuk on the block looking for another goalie right after i took over the team and got a single inquiry and it really wasnt something i was interested in doing at all

i will know better what things look like after the season and keepers are declared of course but if i end up in the middle of the pack i may not have a shot at grabbing anything thrown out anyway

I guess, but to me you are just hanging on to a goalie to hang onto a goalie. Every other name you have there is either a legit NHL player or a high quality prospect who isnt far from being a legit contributing NHL player. I cant say that about your goalies. That being said, you know your league better then me.

I'd drop Leland Irving. That guy is so bad that he probably will never make it as a NHL back up and it wouldn't surprise me if he got waived by Calgary.

i agree with you i am hanging onto goalies just to hang onto goalies

and you are right in terms of those prospects but in a keep 12 i feel a guy like spurgeon gets kept so i can absolutely have him on my roster if i want next year and then he gets cut after next season anyway since there is almost zero chance he cracks a keep 12 after next season

and if i do hold him and he doesnt crack my roster next season i dump him and wasted the spot

as another note i have also had all of my prospect defensemen on the block since the beginning of the season as well and havent had a single bite

hell Josi wasnt even on any teams farm when i joined the league

yeah i ended up dropping Irving at the end of the day
